Founded in 1966 in Vicenza, Italy, a city situated between Verona and Venice in the Veneto Region — a part of Northern Italy renowned for its rich history of artisanal craftsmanship — Bottega Veneta started its journey as a small independent maker of luxurious leather products. In fact, the name Bottega Veneta directly translates to “Venetian Shop,” a nod to the region’s illustrious heritage of producing high-quality goods.
Slowly but surely, the reputation of Bottega Veneta’s unique design style and incredible quality spread. In particular, Bottega Veneta’s iconic Intrecciato design, which uses a special technique for weaving strips of leather together to create a cross-hatched motif predominantly on bags and smaller accessories.

Jeans in different cuts and colours alongside a small selection of hats complete the clothing collection before moving onto footwear, which features both shoes and boots in casual and formal styles.
